Things have been pretty sweet around the house lately. We got a new rug for our living room and Oscar thought it was a good choice. It's a woven wool and is thinner than any other rugs we've had. We placed a slip-stopper under it but I am thinking of adding some kind of sticky double-sided circles for the corners.
The little plant that is about to bloom is from my friend's house in Seattle. I broke it off her plant and brought it home with me. I never thought it would make it but it rooted and seems to be thriving, surprisingly. I even bought a ceramic planter just for it.

Love the new rug. Good you placed a slip guard underneath. Otherwise Oscar would probably run and slide on it like my Anni likes to do. :)

There is such soft light in your home. I envy that. So glad the rug has the approval of your much cherished cat. Such a handsome boy.
