I needed a substitute for a purse for those times when I only need to bring my essentials with me. So I made this.
You want to make one too?
Cut out two rectangular pieces tracing a letter-sized paper.
Place two dots 3" from each side and 3/4" from the top.
Punch holes in placed you just marked using ...hole puncher.
Fold the top seam so that the holes would be right on top and sew along that edge as shown in photo below.
Insert the rope in one of the holes and push it through and out using something long like a knitting needle.
Make a knot to secure its place. Repeat the process on the other side.
Fold the two pieces right side in and sew along the edges.
This step is optional but if you would like to give your pouch a bit of a dimensional shape, take the bottom two corners and sew across as shown in photo below.
All done.
